I think this is sort of a given on most state funded transit systems in America...and in most other service situations. Seniors deserve a bit of a break...not only because they have earned it, but because most of them are on fixed incomes and need to save every penny they get. I'm glad to see that MARTA values our seniors and offers a discount, but to be quite honest, I think they should be allowed to ride for free.


Do kids also get discounts? I wonder if this is the type of thing as with a theme park where kids and senior citizens get half off. I was pretty sure that the seniors and disabled folks got the same treatment in all States.

Seniors - yes. Kids - through their school usually. Same for college students and employees of universities, if they participate in that transit plan.
